SUPER DOOPER EASY PEACH CAKE

I hope you try this super-dooper easy peach dessert. It is sweet, fruity, full of fall flavor and mixes together in just minutes, so it would be great for last minute company!! This dessert is "over the top" delicious when served warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!!

4 tablespoons butter melted
¾ cup all purpose flour
¾ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup milk
3 cups sliced ripe peaches (3 to 4 peaches)

Preheat oven to 350 and spray a square or round 9" baking dish with vegetable spray (I used a 9" springform pan). In a medium size bowl, mix first 8 ingredients until smooth. Spread into prepared pan and set fruit slices on top (I cut my peaches a little thick). Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until browned and bubbly (I baked mine for the full 60 minutes).

Excellent served with whipped cream or ice cream.

This sounds so easy. I'll use the can type (because cannot get ripe peaches here) and lower the sugar. Do you think is ok?

ANNCOO: Yes, canned peaches would work well in this recipe as long as you drain them VERY well. If you use canned peaches, I would reduce the amount of sugar a little.

That look like a cake that I made a month or so ago but have yet to blog about! If I remember right it was easy and the kiddos loved it! I did adapt it some and added some warm spices! Yours looks very good and makes me wonder if we can top it with apples.

Katy told me you're gonna take pity on my yeast deprived family! :) Many thanks!

Thanks so much for another great recipe. I love peaches and this sounds so good. I just read that it is 28° there. How cold does it get in the middle of the winter?

Luscious looking! And I love the almond in it. Not a time consuming difficult recipe either- all the best components!

This sounds like a perfect autumn dessert! I think I'll hand this one off to my 12-year-old daughter to try!

I've never made a peach pie or used this method for any pie before. I'll have to give it a whirl. Who doesn't love a simple pie recipe? Rolling dough has it's place, but I am all for simplification. Cheers!

I love peaches cooked in foods. Oh my, and to think that this beautiful cake is super dooper easy, well I'm on this like white on rice. I agree with HoneyB, could definitely eat this for breakfast! Grins.

Hi Coleen
I have recently discovered your blog and have tried quite a few of your coffee cakes and no bake cakes. They have all turned out very scrumptious!

I struggle with the spoon and cup measurements though ( used to grams).

If I wanted to make this cake (just baked it and its delicious!!!) for about 10 people (treble the recipe?) could you possibly tell me how much the ingredients would weigh in grams rather than me measuring 12 tablespoons etc
??? Thanks
